05 Jan New Year News!

Happy New Year Everyone!

Here is a brief and excited update as I begin this year with a fizz of anticipation! There are two new and exciting developments for 2016 that I must tell you about. Firstly and this week, I am set to join the team at Blakeney GP Surgery here in the Forest of Dean. Senior Partner Dr Martin Gibbs and his Partners Dr Stefan Scheuner, Dr Anna Raymond and their team have been a wonderful discovery. This small rural practice hosts a number of Complementary Therapies to which Traditional Acupuncture has been warmly welcomed. I am delighted to have this opportunity to play my part in this vibrant practice nestled in such a beautiful corner of the Forest of Dean. For those interested, Blakeney is conveniently situated on the A48 between Gloucester and Chepstow and is easily accessible to those travelling from within the Forest and from slightly further afield. Appointments are available to all including those who are already patients at the Surgery. I will be here on Fridays.

Secondly I am poised to join a team of Therapists from Hereford Haven in bringing our work to the brand new Breast Cancer Care Centre at Worcester Royal Hospital, under the watchful eye of Consultant Breast Surgeon Mr Steve Thrush. This is a pioneering project bringing the work of The Haven into an NHS setting offering Complementary Therapy such as Traditional Acupuncture to support women through and beyond their Breast Cancer diagnosis and treatment. Dates are a little fluid still as this project has literally been built from scratch with a beautiful and brand new building to host this collaboration. Our wonderful Breast Care nurse Helen Crilly will be keeping us up to date very soon with a February deadline getting very close … Watch this space!!

Until then I will continue to work from Hereford Haven on Tuesdays and Thursdays and retain my practice at home on Mondays so please do get in touch if you are contemplating better health for 2016 … I would love to hear from you.

Be well

Jennie
